Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s bantamweight champion, Miesha Tate, is looking to keep herself busy now that she’s no longer competing in mixed martial arts (MMA).
In addition to her ongoing role as mentor and trainer for women in combat sports, “Cupcake” will now produce her own online fitness program, where she will help
fans paying subscribers lose weight and get in shape in just 30 days.
With a body like hers, I’d say she’s doing something right, though it should be noted her svelte physique was not achieved in just one month.
Tate (18-7) hung up her gloves after an uninspired performance — and unanimous decision loss — to Raquel Pennington at UFC 205 in New York. It was her second straight defeat after Amanda Nunes stopped her at UFC 200 to secure the strap.
While there has been some talk of a potential return, the 31-year-old Tate seems to be enjoying life after MMA, at least for the time being.
